BEHAVIORAL HEALTH RESOURCES DURING THE GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN
During the Government Shutdown, there are still some behavioral health resources for Active Duty and Family Member Dependents (FMDs) across Europe. One such program is Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). As of 01OCT25, WWP’s registration criterion have changed and they now accept all Veterans or Active Duty Service members who have served post-9/11, no longer requiring documentation of a wound, illness, or injury.
WWP also offers support to family members. WWP provides no-cost services, which include non-clinical support phone calls, virtual individual, couples, and family therapy, virtual child/adolescent therapy, and higher level behavioral health care options. WWP counselors and contractors are mandated reporters and notify first responders in the event of safety concerns. Individuals can register online here.
